ViniPortugal organised an online training session aimed at 30 top sommeliers from the Vancouver region with decision-making power in their restaurants. This session was led by the recognized local sommelier Iain Philip.<\/p>\n

A total of 6 wine references were presented, and since this is a session dedicated to top sommeliers, it is important to guarantee a high level of quality in order to ensure attractiveness and impact.<\/p>\n

The session took place on the Zoom platform, with a bottle of each wine presented being sent to the participants’ homes.<\/p>\n

The objectives of this activity are to deepen the audience’s knowledge of Portuguese wines and to promote new listings and their recommendation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It should be noted that British Columbia is one of the Canadian provinces with the fewest cases of COVID-19 per capita (1,843 cases\/ per 100,000 inhabitants) and that it has a restaurant sector known for its dynamism, which is expected to recover more quickly than other provinces.<\/p>\n
