Portuguese wines were distinguished in the China Wine & Spirits Awards (CWSA) 2020 competition with 120 medals and 3 trophies awarded to: Reserva do Monte 2018 from Casa Santos Lima as \u201cLisboa Wine of the Year\u201d Adega de Peg\u00f5es Alicante Bouschet 2017 as \u201cPen\u00ednsula de Set\u00fabal Wine of the Year\u201d Grand Arte \u2019Special Selection 2014 from DFJ Vinhos as \u201cPortuguese Wine of the Year\u201d. The contest also awarded \u201cDouble Gold\u201d medals, the highest distinction of the competition, to 12 Portuguese wines. In the \u201cBest Value 2020\u201d category, Portuguese wines received 70 medals: DFJ Vinhos Portada Reserva 2018 was considered the \u201cPortuguese Wine of the Year\u201d Moscatel Adega de Favaios 1999 received the ‘Double Gold’ medal, as well as Monsaraz Reserva CARMIM 2017 and Portada Reserva 2018.
