The choice of the Portuguese wines results of an evaluation composed by two phases. In a first moment more than 1390 Portuguese wines were evaluated in technical blind tastings, made by 110 national and international specialists in the CNEMA, in Santar\u00e9m. After this first selection, the Grand Jury, composed by international reference judges, gather in \u00c9vora, and select the best of these wines to award with the Grand Gold and Best of the Year awards.
